Inside of the Sound Academy, there is a coat check which is very cheap, approximately $3. If you get thirsty, they have 2 bars, one on the north side and the other on the west side of the venue. Drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are the sweetest and easy going. Also inside would be the merchandise that bands will bring with them while on tour. The layout of the venue is big. There is a a very wide open space plus a balcony to enjoy the show. If you ever need air, there are back doors that will take you onto a patio the faces the lake, and a has a mini bar for the summer season.

The price of the shows at the Sound Academy definitely depends on the band. From what I have realized from going to concerts, the older and popular the band is, the more expensive your ticket may be.

In conclusion, the Sound Academy is a great venue to see your favourite band/artist. With cheap coat check, food, drinks, a beautiful view of Lake Ontario and a wide open space for you to enjoy your concert, I think you will have a great time here. This blog is about the Sound Academy, located in Toronto, Ontario. It is a concert where mostly popular and local bands play for young and old concert goers. I myself have been to this venue more than five times and love it. They do have a security team who make sure the building and its guests are safe. The security team also are quite friendly unless you don’t comply with their with their rules.
The amenities for the venue are quite limited when looking for food. The two things that would be available for eating would be a hot dog stand and the TNT grocery store down the street. Therefore, before heading down to the venue it would be better to eat at home or an actual restaurant.

Directioners, you don’t have to like The Wanted but can’t you just respect them?!
I saw The Wanted get hate from some directioners because they were the ones that performed on Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, not One Direction. The world doesn’t always revolve around One Direction and their fans. Jeez
